Many of us are new to music so we wanted to keep our songs pretty simple so we went with "Less is More" as a band to match the vibe. Plus things don't always have to be complicated to sound great! 🤘What is most exciting about participating in Rock Roulette? The most exciting part about participating in Rock Roulette for us is being able to meet new people in a creative space. 🔊Has your band found their sound? If so, what is it? Yes, we're going for a grungy New Wave vibe. 🎸Who are your influences? We were inspired by bands like The Smiths and The Cure, Echo & the Bunnymen. We also wanted to bring in some Latin influence like Soda Stereo. 🥁What do you love most about being a part of the YRC community? We love being able to meet new people in a LGBTQ+ creative space that is incredibly welcoming and feels safe and non-judgmental.

It comes from the thoughts surrounding aging, hitting milestones in life and how we navigate the world as we grow older, wiser, and more ourselves. It’s also a nod to how society values youngness, and devalues us as we age. 🎸What is most exciting about participating in Rock Roulette? Collaborating, making friends, having fun, being able to sing without censorship in a supportive environment. Being able to work with a variety of styles and experience and blend it together is very rewarding. 🎤Has your band found their sound? If so, what is it? Our band’s sound is a mixture of indie rock and feminism folk punk with confessional style lyrics. 💿Who are your influences? Georgia Maq (Camp Cope), Hayley Williams, Karen O, The Killers 🥁What do you love most about being a part of the YRC community? Everything. Above all, raising money so marginalized youth can have access to music, which can be life changing. Music is therapeutic and YRC shouts that it’s okay to take up space and have a voice
